Your Northeast Florida Corporate Event Planner

Sarah White is a Jacksonville, Florida, corporate event planner serving Northeast Florida. Sarah’s career in the special events industry began in 2011 after graduating from Florida State University. While studying Fashion Merchandising at FSU, Sarah interned with fashion PR companies which gave her her first exposure to corporate events. From planning brand and product launches to designer showcases and offsite meetings, those internships would shape the future of Sarah White Events.

What makes Sarah different from other event planners?

  • A goal focused approach to planning. With corporate events, the priorities and expectations are different than with weddings or social events. It’s important for your event planner to be aligned with your brand, your values and your goals. The first conversation with planning is always around your goals, both for the event and after. It’s important for us to understand who you are, what matters to you and where you’re trying to go. We are focused on your ROI and constantly asking if each choice is in line with your goals.

  • We’re always thinking about risk management. Proper planning and documentation are key with every event. However, we live by the thought that if something can go wrong, it will go wrong. Because of this, we’re contingency planning from the onset. This applies not only to weather but tech, travel, guest experience and everything in between.

  • Local planners with local knowledge. With years of experience in corporate events in the Jacksonville area, we understand the market better than anyone. We know the vendors. We know the venue requirements. We know attendee behaviors and preferences. We know what else is going on the week of your event. All of this allows us to help set expectations and plan smarter to ensure the best outcomes.

  • Our contract doesn’t end on event day. Unlike with most planners, our contract doesn’t end on event day. We meet with every client the week following the event to provide insight on what worked and what didn’t. We review the goal, determine success and provide recommendations for the following year. We want to be a long term strategic partner for every client.

  • Four years in catering sales and management, planning menus and executing events for up to 500 guests. Sarah’s first hand experience in the catering field allows her to help clients set expectations appropriately and better guide them through catering decisions including menu and bar planning. She anticipates a caterers needs to ensure food service goes smoothly for every event.

  • WSET Level 2 Award in Wine. An unlikely qualification for an event planner, yes, but an incredibly useful one. A love of wine drove Sarah to pursue her WSET wine awards but the value add for clients has been immeasurable. Over the years, it became clear that clients wanted to serve excellent wine to their guests but most didn’t know how to choose it. Now we help by finding options that match taste and budget, pairing well with the menu while still feeling approachable to guests.
